Monday 27th March -Day 1

So here we are at American Village and we're settling in just fine! 😎

Here's a quick recap of what we've done so far......

Nous sommes arrivés à American Village et nous sommes bien installés! Et voila un petit retour sur le début de notre séjour...

We spent the morning in the English classrooms "working"  together (didn't feel much like work though!) Yeah !!! 😃

Nous avons passé la matinée dans les classes d'Anglais à faire un "soit disant" travail tous ensemble. C'était COOL ! (ça, ça veut dire Génial! en Américain 😆)

Then we ate our packed lunches, tidied up the horrific mess (!!!) and got ready to board the coach!!! 

Ensuite : Pique-nique, puis rangement du *****! avant de monter dans le car.

The journey to Cours et Buis went well and when we arrived we had to go through Immigration. Everyone was above board so we've all been allowed in! 

Le voyage s'est bien passé et à notre arrivée il a fallu passer la douane. Tout le monde était en règle et autorisé à rester... Ouf !!! 

Next came the moment that our teachers had been dreading... Time to make our beds...... OMG !!! Nearly lost a couple inside the quilt covers! 

Ensuite le moment tant attendu par nos chers professeurs... Faire nos lits.

 Aaaagh! On a bien failli en perdre quelques uns dans les housses de couette!

This afternoon we met our Counsellors and it looks as though we're going to have an amazing time !!!

Cet après-midi nous avons rencontré les animateurs et tout porte à croire que nous allons nous éclater !!!

We're due to start off our stay with the most American of evenings : Cheesburgers for dinner followed by a Camp Fire, Sing-Along and... S'MORES !!! Yummy !!!

But we'll tell you all about that tomorrow....

Nous allons démarrer notre séjour avec une soirée

 "On ne peut plus Américaine" : Cheesburgers, Feu de Camp, chansons et... S'MORES !!!
